“Charol is an outstanding editor. Her work has saved me a
lot of money, helped make me a lot of money, and I give her a very strong
endorsement. She is part of my 'team' and does terrific work.” … “Charol, I am
in London for the next two weeks. Movies moving. One fully funded. A couple
meetings over here for another.” 2014 February - Ted Simendinger (aka Ocean Palmer)
award-winning author of numerous books (novels, business, self-help),
a professional book editor and academic editor for twenty years and business editor forty
years, as well as a published author myself of many books, I appreciate the
creative and technical challenges of being a writer and what it takes to make a
developmental editor and ghostwriter, my main strength is the ability to
grasp the larger picture as well as the details and to shape the whole
piece start to finish for reading flow.
myself in the soul of the book. I feel its pulse, its rhythm. A part of my
structuring process is short paragraphs, short chapters, sections, and
layout. In a book ghostwritten from interviews, the main body is the
author's words, to convey your unique voice and vision.
I am honored to
be a part of your journey in helping others.
I offer two
- Small work as you need it, to fit your monthly budget
(consulting, coaching, proofreading; partial editing, development on a work-in-progress).
- Full edit your
completed manuscript draft. Estimated costs are shown at each
level of work: overview, analysis, roadmap, final light edit, line-content edit, developmental edit, academic; the larger the word count, the
lower the rate.
- Ghostwriting is a base price for (a) partially written draft, (b) write for you based on interviews and research.
Caveat: All of my work is very thorough. Please read the details on the pages that fit your editing or writing needs. I do not skimp over the work. Also, please keep in mind, all manuscripts from unpublished writers that I have edited have required a typical Line-Content Comprehensive First Edit. Each also has been more result than the author expected. I feel it is better to give you too much than not enough, then you can decide how to utilize the editing and recommendations. I would rather give you something substantive than only the minimum get-by. My goal is to help you achieve the fulfillment that is driving you to write and to publish.
Editing & Development Packages:
Include one-paragraph description of your project, service needed, project budget, and word count.
